In this film, I used various media and techniques; mixing large scale water on wall animation, pixillation, and digitally painted frame by frame animation onto pin-hole photographic backgrounds and digital photos.
Parts of the animation were created with chalk powder and water using a mop as the drawing tool - drawing direct to camera onto a wall coated with black board paint (see images of work in progress on the right). On this surface, wa-ter takes on the blackness of ink, while retaining its fluidity and agency.
